Andrew Parlin, MD

Originally from Long Island, NY, Dr Parlin received his BS in Finance from Tulane University in 2008, and attended Tulane University School of Medicine on a US Army Health Professions Scholarship, graduating with a Medical Doctorate in 2013. He completed his intern year at Madigan Army Medical Center in 2014, and his Ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in 2017. He was then stationed at Tripler Army Medical center in Honolulu from 2017 until 2021, serving as the Assistant Ophthalmology Clinic Chief as well as the Director of Ophthalmic Education for the hospital. After completing his service in 2021, Dr Parlin transitioned into private practice and has been with Island Ophthalmology Partners since 2022. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his growing family, scuba diving, and exercising.
